Who is it for

  • Slow travellers. People who want a base, not a programme.

  • Anyone who appreciates things done with care – rooms full of antiques, regional food, bread baked without yeast.

  • Couples and solo guests more than groups. The atmosphere is intimate, not social by design.

Good to know

  • Merano is an easy town to explore on foot – thermal baths, mountains and a surprisingly good restaurant scene all within reach.

  • Each room is different. Worth looking at them individually before booking.

  • Breakfast changes daily and is the main event. Plan your morning around it.

What stood out

The breakfast – and the turtle. Both take their time. One changes daily, beautifully regional, served in the garden. The other lives there permanently and couldn't care less about check-out times.
